Lawrence County Developmental Disabilities will have a float in the Memorial Day Parade this year and we would very much appreciate your help! We need people to walk with us, or ride (limited seating). We will meet on Railroad Street between 4th and 5th streets to line up on Memorial Day, May 31. Please be there by 9:30 AM. Children under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult, and anyone who needs assistance should have a caregiver with them. If you have one of our white agency logo tee shirts, Growing Possibilities, in good condition, please wear it. If not, we will have limited sizes available the day of parade on a first come first serve basis. Otherwise, please wear something red, white or blue without any words or graphics. Please remember to take any medicine and eat before you come and bring a bottle of water if it’s a hot day. VERY IMPORTANT: wear comfortable shoes!!!
