The Lawrence County Developmental Disabilities (DD) program will be accepting applications January 3 through January 31, 2019 from persons interested in being appointed to the Lawrence County DD Board. Eligible applicants must be a Lawrence County resident, a US citizen, knowledgeable in the field of developmental disabilities or other allied fields, able to attend at least 10 monthly meetings per year and complete a minimum of 4 hours of training annually. The appointments will be made by the Lawrence County Commissioners.
The Board has three openings, all for unexpired terms, one of which must be filled by someone who is eligible for, or has an immediate family member eligible for, developmental disabilities adult services. Also, priority will be given to applicants who have professional training/experience in one or more of the following areas: business management, finance, law, health care practice, personnel administration or government service.
Application packets may be picked up at the Lawrence County DD Board office located at 604 Carlton Davidson Lane, Coal Grove, OH, 45638, weekdays between 8:30 AM & 4:00 PM (except January 21) or requested via email at: [email protected].
