UPDATE: COVID-19 VACCINES GROUP IB

LCDD is working to identify individuals served who will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in phase 1B.  Individuals will be notified by their SSA.  Please note that providers and caregivers are not included in phase 1B – unless they are also in a priority group.  Anyone who did not receive the vaccine as part of Phase 1A (congregate settings) and wants it should contact their SSA.

According to the Lawrence County Health Department, Phase 1B will be prioritized in the following order and vaccines should be available by the dates listed below.  However, we still don’t know the details about the date and time of the shot clinics.  We will let you know as soon as possible.

  1. People 80 years of age and older (January 19th).
  2. People 75 years and older, along with people who have congenital and developmental, or early-onset medical disorders (January 25th).
  3. People 70 and older, and teachers and school staff (February 1st).
  4. People 65 years and older will be added (February 8th).
